📝 Full Itinerary
Day 1 – Bucharest Arrival
Arrive at Henri Coandă Airport, where you’ll be greeted by your local guide. Private transfer to your hotel in Bucharest, Romania’s lively capital, with time to relax or stroll through the Old Town. Overnight in Bucharest.
Day 2 – Bucharest → Sinaia → Brașov
Depart for the scenic Prahova Valley. Visit Peleș Castle, the former royal summer residence and one of Europe’s most elegant palaces, surrounded by Carpathian forests. Continue to Brașov, a medieval gem framed by mountains. Guided walking tour of the Council Square, Black Church, and city walls. Overnight in Brașov.
Day 3 – Bran Castle & Râșnov Fortress
Morning excursion to Bran Castle, famously linked with the Dracula legend. Explore its dramatic towers and courtyards, then continue to Râșnov Fortress, a 13th-century citadel perched on a hilltop offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Return to Brașov for overnight stay.
Day 4 – Brașov → Sighișoara → Sibiu
Drive to Sighișoara, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the best-preserved medieval citadel in Europe. Tour its cobbled streets, colorful houses, and the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler. In the afternoon, continue to Sibiu, once a cultural capital of Europe, known for its Brukenthal Palace, Great Square, and the iconic Liars’ Bridge. Overnight in Sibiu.
Day 5 – Alba Iulia & Hunedoara
Journey to Alba Iulia and walk through the majestic Alba Carolina Citadel, a vast Vauban-style fortress symbolizing Romania’s unification. In the afternoon, visit Corvin Castle in Hunedoara, one of Europe’s largest Gothic fortresses, with drawbridges, knights’ halls, and legends at every corner. Return to Sibiu for overnight.
Day 6 – Sibiu → Bucharest via Cozia Monastery
Depart Sibiu and travel south. Stop at the Cozia Monastery, founded in the 14th century on the banks of the Olt River, famous for its Byzantine frescoes and peaceful setting. Arrive in Bucharest for your final evening. Overnight in Bucharest.
Day 7 – Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Bucharest Airport for your flight home.
