📝 Full Itinerary
Day 1 – Bucharest → Tulcea
Meet your guide in Bucharest and enjoy a comfortable transfer to Tulcea, the gateway to the Danube Delta. On arrival, visit the Danube Delta Museum, where interactive exhibits introduce you to the rich biodiversity of Europe’s last great wilderness. Evening at leisure on the Danube promenade. Overnight in Tulcea.
Day 2 – Boat Excursion to Letea Forest
After breakfast, embark on a boat trip through the Delta’s channels and lakes, where pelicans, herons, and cormorants thrive. Reach Letea Forest, a unique natural reserve with wild horses, ancient oaks, and sand dunes blending with wetlands. Enjoy a traditional fisherman’s lunch with fresh local specialties before returning by boat. Overnight in Tulcea.
Day 3 – Sfântu Gheorghe
Full-day adventure to the remote fishing village of Sfântu Gheorghe, where the Danube meets the Black Sea. Explore the village’s sandy lanes, taste freshly caught fish prepared in traditional style, and learn about the community’s way of life. Afternoon free to walk along the wild beach. Return to Tulcea for overnight.
Day 4 – Constanța & Mamaia
Depart for the Black Sea coast. In Constanța, Romania’s oldest port city, visit the iconic Constanța Casino, the Grand Mosque, and the Roman mosaic floor. Stop at the Dolphinarium for a family-friendly experience. Continue to the seaside resort of Mamaia, known for its long beaches and lively promenade. Overnight in Constanța.
Day 5 – Constanța → Bucharest
After breakfast, transfer back to Bucharest with drop-off at Henri Coandă Airport for your onward flight.
